Cattle market being monitored with CCTV cameras and drones: CMP Commissioner

C T Online Desk: Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) Commissioner Krishna Pad Roy said that all cattle markets in the city are being monitored by CCTV cameras and drones.

On Monday (June 26), after visiting Noor Nagar Housing of Chandgaon Police Station and Moizzartek Cow Market of Karnaphuli Police Station, he gave this information in response to questions from journalists.

The commissioner said that the intelligence agency is working to detect fake money. Moreover, some cattle markets built around the road have been evacuated.

Where the cow market has been leased out, legal action will be taken. Stopping of cattle carts on roads is prohibited.

At that time CMP Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Faisal Mahmood, Additional Commissioner of Police (Administration and Finance) MA Masud; Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime and Operations) AS M Mahtab Uddin and other senior officers of CMP were present.
