C T Online Desk: The last meeting of the Rotary Club of Chittagong Aristocracy for the 2022-2023 Rota year was held on Thursday.
Presided by the club President Dr Md Joynal Abedin Muhuri, the meeting was held in the city’s Chittagong Club Limited.
Rotary Club of Chittagong President Professor Akbar Hossain, Rotary Club of Chittagong Imperial President Masudur Rahman, Rotary Club of River Shine President Kohinoor Akter, Rotary Club of Bengal City President Dr MA Karim, the club Chartered President Mostafa Asraful Islam Alvi, past President Advocate Jobair Hossain Shibli, Past President Dr Abul Kalam Azad, and Treasurer Habibullah Pasha attended the meeting among others.
The club members highlighted all the projects and activities carried out throughout the service year.
These initiatives encompassed renovating the Al Bayan Orphanage and providing support for the well-being of orphaned children.
Additionally, the club organised various health camps to ensure the welfare of the community and hosted a ‘Career Fiesta’ at Fatikchhari upazila to empower unemployed youth and foster self-reliance.
To recognise outstanding contributions to the projects undertaken during the year, the President’s Award was presented at the meeting.
The club president expressed gratitude to everyone involved and extended well wishes for the upcoming Rota Year 2023-2024.
