C T Online Desk: Awami League nominated candidate Khairuzzaman Liton has been elected mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC).
Liton has became the mayor of Rajshahi city for the third time.
Returning officer Delwar Hossain declared the result Wednesday night.
Khairuzzaman Liton bagged 1,60,190 votes while Jaitya Party candidate Saiful Islam Swapon got 10,272 votes.
The voting began at 8:00am and continued till 4:00pm.
