3000 floating persons vaccinated in Ctg

C T Online Desk: Mass vaccination activities of floating and uprooted people have started in Chittagong.

Chittagong Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mominur Rahman inaugurated the program at the old station area around 10:30 am yesterday

At the time, he said, a dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine was being given to uprooted and floating people at five locations in the city. They no longer need a second dose. Various teams of the district administration are working to find those floating people in the city and bring them under the vaccine.

Chittagong Divisional Director (Health) said. Hasan Shahriar Kabir told reporters, “We have set a target of vaccinating one lakh traveling and uprooted people.” No paperwork is required for this vaccine. Only when they come can we pay.

Deputy Director of the Department of Health was present at the time general hospital caretaker said. Sheikh Fazle Rabbi,Super of CGH,  Additional Deputy Commissioner (Overall) Mohammad Mahmud Ullah Maruf, Civil Surgeon Elias Chowdhuryn was present.
