Half & full day tourist bus service in Ctg soon: DC

C T Online Desk: Deputy Commissioner Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman said, with the help of Beach Management Committee and the  Bangladesh Tourism Corporation, we will launch half day and full day tourist bus  services in Chittagong very soon. Chittagong district administration is determined to further enrich the tourism sector.

He said these things at a press conference organized on the occasion of the inauguration of tourist bus service at the conference room of Chittagong Circuit House at around 12 noon on yestrday . He also said that tourist bus service will be launched to visit Guliakhali, Parki beach and historical places of Chittagong.

We have undertaken this activity for service, not for business. Known as the commercial capital of the country, the port city of Chittagong, rich in mountains, rivers, seas and green forests, is well known as one of the most promising areas for tourism in the country. Patenga beach located here is one of the most beautiful and popular beaches in Bangladesh.

The popularity of this beach, which is only 14 km from Chittagong city, is increasing day by day among tourists. Located at the estuary of the Karnaphuli River and the sea, Patenga Beach is thronged by tourists in the afternoon and at sunset. Apart from this, the scenic and natural beauty DC Park built by the district administration in Faujdarhat of Chittagong city has become popular among the tourists day by day. In order to make the travel of Chittagong tourist lovers to Patenga Beach and DC Park smooth and easy, the district administration in collaboration with Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation, Chittagong will operate two double-decker (one roof open) buses on the city’s Tiger Pass-DC Park (Fouzdarhat)-Patenga route from June 10. took the initiative’.

On the occasion of the inauguration of the bus service, there will be an inauguration ceremony at Chittagong Circuit House on June 10 at 10 am and the auspicious inauguration of the bus service at Patenga Beach at 12 noon. Bangladesh Road Transport and Highways Department Secretary ABM Amin Ullah Noori will be present as the chief guest in the inaugural ceremony. How much is the rent?

To travel by tourist bus service from Tiger Pass to DC Park Tk 40, DC Park to Patenga Beach Tk 30, Tigerpass to Patenga Beach Tk 70 Similarly Patenga to DC Park Tk 30, DC Park to Tigerpass Tk 40, Patenga Beach to Tigerpass The ticket price has been fixed at 70 rupees. The number of buses will be increased and AC buses will be added in future if the demand of travelers increases.
