C T Online Desk: Law enforcers have arrested Rajshahi BNP Convener Abu Sayeed Chand for issuing death threat to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Sources said a team of police apprehended him at a check-post at Beripara area in Rajshahi metropolitan city around 10:30am.
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Commissioner Anisur Rahman confirmed the arrest.
Addressing a rally of BNP at Rajshahi on Friday, Chand threatened to send the PM to graveyard.
He made such statement at a public rally of metropolitan and district BNP at Shibpur High School ground in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi.
