C T Online Desk: Although 35 canals were dug and expanded in the city under the mega project to alleviate waterlogging, 21 canals are now almost extinct. Although these existed in the CS Khatian, there are now various types of installations, including multi-storey buildings.
The canals must be identified and restored and the councilors will mark these canals.
