C T Online Desk: 100 electric double decker AC buses are going to be added to the fleet of BRTC in November this year. Of these, 80 will run in the capital Dhaka. The remaining 20 will run on Chittagong roads. Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said this information.
The Minister gave this information at the appointment of a consulting service company for the construction of a 320-meter steel art bridge over the Brahmaputra river at Kewatkhali in Mymensingh on Thursday at the Secretariat of the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges.
It is reported that this modern electric double-decker bus will have digital ticketing, CCTV cameras, digital display and emergency button for security. A total of 90 passengers can be transported in this bus. The latest technology is used in the doors and seats of the bus. Which can carry a lot of weight.
