C T Online Desk: Eight people were killed in a gunfight between two groups in Rowangchhari upazila of Bandarban district on Friday (April 7).
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.
Abdul Mannan, officer-in-charge of Rowangchhari Police Station, confirmed the matter.
He said police recovered the bodies from Khamthampara area around 12:30 pm today, and the incident took place at 11 am.
The bodies were sent to Bandarban Sadar Hospital, he added.
