C T Online Desk: At least 16 people were killed and 20 others injured as a bus fell into a ditch in Kutubpur of Shibchar upazila of Madaripur on Sunday morning.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.
The accident took place near Pachchar area of the approach road to Padma Bridge.
Abu Naim Mofazzal Haque, officer-in-charge (OC) of Shibchar Highway police station, confirmed the news.
