C T Online Desk: A fire that broke out at a two-storey building at Nitaiganj in Narayanganj was doused today (Saturday), according to our correspondent.
After frantic efforts, six firefighting units brought the fire under control at 10:25am.
Being informed at 9:01am, the first unit reached the spot at 9:06 am.
In the incident, the backside of the building has collapsed.
The fire fighters also rescued seven people alive from the partially collapsed building.
An investigation is undergoing to identify the cause of the fire incident.
