C T Online Desk: The Chittagong district administration celebrated the 103rd birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day by flying balloons and cutting cakes with children and teenagers from various schools.
On Friday (March 17) morning, the day’s activities began by paying tribute to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Chittagong District Art Academy premises.
After that, Bangabandhu’s birth anniversary was celebrated by blowing balloons and cutting kites at the initiative of the district administration.
Chittagong Divisional Commissioner Dr. Md. Aminur Rahman, DIG of Police Anwara Hossain, Deputy Commissioner Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman, CMP Commissioner Krishnapad Roy etc.
Later discussion meeting, cultural program and award distribution ceremony was organized at District Arts Academy. Officials of various departments and departments of the government along with the district administration participated in it.
