Chattogram Senior District and Sessions Judge Mr. Dr. Mr. Aziz Ahmed Bhuyia has been awarded for obtaining PhD on “Judicial Review of Administrative Action for Ensuring Good Governance In Bangladesh”. District PP Advocate Sheikh Iftekhar Saimul Chowdhury presided over Judges meeting in Chattogram
. Dr.Aziz Ahmed Bhunya, the guest of honor in the meeting, said, “It was very difficult to prepare the thesis paper and participate in all the exams without taking time off for the administration of the proceedings. It was a great pleasure to receive this degree from His Excellency the President after passing all the exams with patience. And was proud, he said that in the establishment of justice, we have to deal with all kinds of situations in favor of the law, as a judge, both parties cannot be satisfied, but only by establishing justice, both parties can understand the matter by heart, to create such a situation. We have to work. District Bar Association President Advocate Nazim Uddin Chowdhury and General Secretary Advocate Bazlur Rashid Mintu addressed the meeting, Additional PP Advocate Azharul Haque conducted the meeting. Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Additional District Judge, Joint District Judge, Assistant Dist. Government law officers including judges and judicial magistrates were present.In the presiding address District PP Advocate Sheikh Ifat Ekhar Saimul Chowdhury said that in the long legal struggle of lawyers today the judiciary is independent, judges, lawyers and people of all levels must work to deliver this independent justice system to the people.
