Pahartali  grown up   a modern city within Raozan : Fazle Karim

C T Online Desk: ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP, Chairman  of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Railway Ministry said that the country is moving forward under the efficient leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The government is giving stipends to students to develop well-educated and skilled citizens, giving subsidies to agriculture sector to increase agricultural production. Along with the government, we have distributed free fertilizers and quality seeds in Raojan. Pahartali has now become a modern city in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Village Hobe Shahar'(village to be turned into town).

He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the malaria prevention mosquito distribution ceremony organized by Pahartali Union Parishad of Raojan Upazila at 12 noon on Sunday. Pahartali Union Parishad Chairman and Raojan Upazila Awami League  Agri Secretary Mohammad Rokon Uddin presided over the meeting as special guests were Raojan Upazila Awami League Vice President Kamrul Islam Bahadur, Bagwan Union Parishad Chairman Bhupesh Barua, Kadalpur Union Parishad Chairman Nizam Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury, Upazila Awami League Executive. Member Dost Mohammad Khan, Pahartali Union Awami League President Nurun Nabi, General Secretary Debamitra Barua Michael. Leaders of local AL, Jubo league, chatra league, Krishak league were present . In the meeting, high quality mosquito nets were distributed among 1000 families by the chief guest.
