BEZA urged to augment ‘garment village’ in Mirsarai

C T Online Desk: BGMEA President Farooq Hasan has requested the Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) to complete all the construction work of Garments Village in the shortest possible time to set up a factory and start industrial activities at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Industrial City in Mirsarai, Chittagong.

A delegation led by BGMEA President Farooq Hasan made the request while inspecting the Garments Village on Saturday to inspect the progress of the construction work.

BGMEA delegation included first vice-president Syed Nazrul Islam, vice-president Shahidullah Azim, vice-president (finance) Khandaker Rafiqul Islam, vice-president Nasir Uddin, vice-president Rakibul Alam Chowdhury and director M. Mohiuddin Chowdhury, AM Shafiul Karim (Khokon), Md. Hassan (Jackie), M Ehsanul Haq and Mohammad Miraj-i-Mustafa (Kaiser) and Beja’s senior officials were present at the time.
