3 CMP constables in hospital after being shot during training exercise

C T Online Desk: Three police constables, including a woman, of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) suffered bullet wounds during a training exercise in Betbunia Police Firing Range in Rangamati today.

One of the injured constables is a woman. The three were admitted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital around 1:35pm.

Two of the constables were identified as Ovi and Sumon from Bakalia Police Station. The female constable is attached to Pahartali Police Station, but her identity was not immediately known.

Krishna Pada Roy, CMP commissioner, told The Daily Star, “The three suffered bullet injures to their legs and hands during a training session in Betbunia. Later, they were taken to CMCH for treatment. We will make all arrangements for their best treatment.”
