Sending pilgrims by ship will  boost up  tourism sector: Mahbub

C T Online Desk:  State Minister of Civil Aviation and Tourism Mahbub Ali commented that sending Hajj pilgrims by ship will make the domestic tourism sector attractive in the world.

He made this comment in response to questions from journalists at the opening ceremony of the three-day long 13th International Tourism Fair organized by tourism publication Bangladesh Monitor at Hotel Peninsula in Chittagong on Thursday. He said, there are about 1700 tourist spots in our country, which is a paradise of immense natural beauty. There are diverse and rich tourism products.

There is also breathtaking natural beauty, rich history, diverse culture, multifaceted lifestyle and warm hospitality. But these issues are rarely brought up domestically and internationally. As a result, the growing tourism industry is slowing down. Therefore, the diversity and beauty of the scenic places surrounded by mountains, plains, forests, seas, oceans, and valleys should be highlighted by all means.
