Rangunia to have intl standard nursing hospital, institute

C T Online Desk: A multipurpose specialized hospital and an international standard super specialized nursing institute are to be set up in Rangunia.

The hospital and nursing institute will be funded by the Sheikh Zayed Bin Al Nahyan Trust of the United Arab Emirates on 110 acres of abandoned land gifted by the Government of Bangladesh in Rungunia Betagi area of ​​Rangunia Upazila. Director General of the Department of Health, Prof. Dr. Abul Basar Mohammad Khurshid Alam visited the project area on Thursday noon.  During the visit, the DG Health examined various aspects of the project.

Additional Director General of Health Dr. Mirzadi Sabrina Flora, Chittagong Divisional Director of Health Dr. Hasan Shahriar Kabir,  Chittagong Civil Surgeon Mohammad Elias Chowdhury, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Rajib Chowdhury, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dev Prasad Chakraborty etc were present on the occasion. They  later also visited Rangunia Upazila Health Complex.
