Today’s Raozan is the outcome of independence- MP Fazle Karim

C T Online Desk: In front of the slogan ‘Victory of Liberation War, Pride of Bengalis’, commemoration of the Liberation War, Honoring the Freedom Fighters and Disability Rally were held in Raozan yesterday..

On December 11 (Sunday) at 3 pm, a discussion meeting called ‘Vijay Manch’ was held at the Raozan Government College ground organized by the Raozan Liberation War Victory Fair Celebration Parishad.

ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury, President of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Railway Ministry, was the chief guest in the discussion meeting. He said that today’s modern and prosperous dream of Rouzan is the benefit of independence. Today, BNP-Jamaat is creating anarchy in the country through violence and conflict. If you want to live peacefully in the golden Bengal of Bangabandhu’s non-communal spirit, then you should vote unitedly for the boat symbol in the next election.

Former chairman of Bangladesh Muktijodha  Central Command Council Bir Muktijodha Principal Abdul Ahad Chowdhury was the inaugural address.

Rauzan Upazila Awami League President, brave freedom fighter Kazi Abdul Wahab presided over the meeting and Rauzan Municipal Mayor Zamir Uddin Parveze gave   welcome speech.

Chairman of Rauzan Upazila Parishad AKM Ehechanul Haidar Chowdhury Babul, Upazila Executive Officer Abdus Samad Sikdar spoke as special guests in the meeting.

Apart from this, eminent intellectuals, politicians, brave freedom fighters, journalists and cultural personalities were present in the commemoration ceremony of Vijay Manch. At the end of the meeting, national famous artists performed dramas, recitations, poems, and dances based on the liberation war. Earlier, chief guest MP ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury along with brave freedom fighters and party leaders inaugurated the month-long liberation war victory fair by hoisting the national flag, flying pigeons  and balloons as symbols of peace.
