C T Online Desk: Chittagong recorded 809 new Covid-19 cases at an infection rate of 27.77% in the 24 hours to Saturday morning.
A total of 2,913 samples were tested at 11 labs in Chittagong and one in Cox’s Bazar, said Civil Surgeon Mohammad Ilias Chowdhury.
However, no new deaths were reported during the period.
The district has logged 118,012 Covid-19 cases and 1,354 deaths since the start of the pandemic in 2020.
