C T Online Desk: The sale of TCB products started in Chittagong city from Tuesday. Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) is starting to sell products at subsidized prices in Chittagong as part of the monthly program.
According to TCB sources, about 5 lakh 35 thousand families of Chittagong will sell products through cards. This sale will continue in Chittagong.
A consumer with a family card can purchase a maximum of two liters of soybean oil, two kg of lentils, one kg of sugar. In this case, the price of soybean oil per liter will be kept at Tk 110, sugar at Tk 55 per kg, lentil at Tk 65.
The sale will continue throughout the month. The demand of sugar in Chittagong district is 535 metric tons (one thousand kg in one metric ton), lentils 600 tons, soybean oil 10 lakh liters. All products have already arrived at the Chittagong warehouse. Now the distributors will deposit the money and take the product.
