Jewellery can be an export sector, says FBCCI chief at opening of Gaurav Jewellers outlet

C T Online Desk: Jewellery industry could be a potential export potential sector and support economic prosperity in Bangladesh, said Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) President Jashim Uddin.

“Bangladeshi jewellers maintain a world class standard. Export of jewellery products will open up new horizons in the economy against the impending economic recession,” he said while inaugurating a jewellers shop in Dhaka as chief guest on Wednesday.

Gaurav Jewellers, a member of Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS), opened its fourth outlet at New Market in the capital.

FBCCI vice president Amin Helali, BAJUS former president Dilip Kumar Roy, vice president Dewan Aminul Islam, Gaurav Jewelers proprietor Ganesh Debnath and brand ambassador Bidya Sinha Saha Mim were also present during the inauguration.

Ganesh Debnath said the Gaurav Jewelers is moving forward with the trust and love of customers as the venture wants to play a role in the new potential of the jewellery industry in the country.

Actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim mentioned that the company Gaurav Jewelers produces products that are “very rich in quality.”
