Zia would have been punished in Bangabandhu’s murder if survived : Minister

Minister of Liberation War Affairs Advocate AM Mozammel Haque MP, chairman of the Parliamentary standing committee on Railway Minister ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury, Poura Mayor of Raozan Zamiruddin Parvez , Upazila chairman Ehsanul Haider Chowdhury and others offering munajat at the grave of  the father of the lawmaker late Fazlul Kabir chowdhury at Gohira, Raozan on tuesday last.

C T Online Desk: Minister of Liberation War Affairs Advocate AM Mozammel Haque MP said Ziaur Rahman was also involved in the killing of the father of the nation. That is why they came to power and issued the indemnity  law and stopped the murder case. Because they know it happened by them. Later, the murder was tried, but the murderer Ziaur Rahman could not be brought under the law. Because the law did not have the provision for the deceased person to be accused. They were not just in the midst of the murder of the nation’s father. Another wants to create August 15 of 1975. But they will no longer make that dream. The minister said this while addressing a meeting with the freedom fighters organized by the Bangabandhu and Liberation War Mass Library, the Liberation War Gardens and the Raozan Upazila administration on Tuesday afternoon. The keynote speaker was ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP, President of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Railways. Mayor Jamir Uddin Parvez of Raozan  Pourasava  presided  over  pourashava  event.  Upazila Executive Officer Abdus Samad Sikder presided over the meeting in the upazila complex in views exchange meeting .. The special guest was Upazila Chairman AKM Ehsanul Haider Chowdhury, Upazila Awami League president Bir freedom fighter Kazi Abdul Wahab, Rauzan Raozan  Police Station OC Abdullah Al Harun.
