C T Online Desk: M/s Intex Link Garments (BD) Limited is going to set up a garment factory in Chittagong Export Processing Area with an investment of USD 95 million.
This 100% foreign-owned Chinese company will produce 6.1 million pieces of t-shirts, oven pants and jackets, sleeping trousers, boys’ and girls’ underwear annually. The institution will create employment opportunities for 2 thousand 659 Bangladeshi citizens.
To this end, an agreement was signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zone Authority (BEPZA) and Intex Link Garments (BD) Limited at Bepza Complex in Dhaka yesterday. Bepza Member (Investment Development) Ali Reza Majid and Intex Link Garments Managing Director Junting Tan signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
