C T Online Desk: Chittagong Medical College (CMC) Hospital held an EEG machine handover ceremony at the Department of Neurology. Industrialist Lion SM Abu Taib presented the latest technology machine. Daily Azadi Editor Ekushey Medalist MA Malek was present as the chief guest while Chittagong Medical College Principal Professor Dr. Shahena Akhtar, Director of Chittagong Medical College Hospital Brigadier General Md. Shamim Ahsan also attended at the event.
In the event, CMC Hospital’s Neurology Department’s current medical system and epileptic diseases were read by Dr. Shimanta Waddedar and Dr. Ekramul Azam Saheed. Professor Dr. Md. Hashanuzzaman, Department of Neurology shed light on his department’s overall plans and future steps to improve service performance. A state-of-the-art video EEG machine was handed over to CMC’s neurology department by businessman, International Business Forum of Bangladesh Chittagong President Lion SM Abu Taib.
