C T Online Desk: Chittagong District Commissioner Mominur Rahman held an introduction and exchange meeting with the leaders of Chittagong District Brick Manufacturers Association. On the morning of September 10last, during the exchange of views at the Chittagong District Commissioner’s office, the president of the newly formed association, Raujan Municipality Mayor Zamir Uddin Parvez, General Secretary of Rangunia A.League Engr. Samshul Alam Talukdar, Chandnaish Brick Kiln Owners Association President, former Upazila Vice Chairman Abdul Rahim Badsha, district vice – President, Lohagara Committee President Abid Hossain Manu, General Secretary Md. Sarwar, District President Satkania Owners Association General Secretary Faridul Alam, Iqbal Hossain Chowdhury Milton, Joint Secretary Shahedullah Jani, Kamal Uddin Chowdhury, Emran Kabir Rashed, Sekander Hossain Chowdhury, Nurul Hakim, Armanur Rahman, Samshul Alam, Gias Uddin Babu, Md. Ali etc were present on the occasion.The leaders of the newly formed district committee of the Bricks Manufacturers Association exchanged views with the Deputy commissioner on mutual interests and bad effects of bricks kiln in the locality towards environment. Deputy commissioner also advised them to become more cautious about the use of fire woods in the kiln . He also thanked the newly elected leaders of the association for their presence in the DC office.
