C T Online Desk: The fire that broke out at the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) building in Gulshan has been brought under control.
The fire originated at the 8th floor of the building on Thursday at around 7.15am, Raji Al Faruk, an official of the Fire Service Headquarters, said.
On information, 4 firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the the blaze under control, he said.
A short circuit from the electrical control room next to the elevator caused of fire, he added.
No major damages or causalities have been reported till filing of this report.
