C T Online Desk: Aug 25, 2022- Bangabandhu’s autobiography ‘Asamapta Atmajibani’
(The Unfinished Memoirs) translated into Thai Language was unveiled at
Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok today as a part of celebrating the golden
jubilee of the bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Thailand.
South Asian Study Center of the Chulalongkorn University and Bangladesh
Embassy in Bangkok jointly organized the book unveiling ceremony while
Bangabandhu’s grandson and Center for Research and Information (CRI) Trustee
Radwan Mujib Siddiq joined the function as the chief guest, according to a
press release of Bangladesh Embassy in Bangkok received here.
A video message of Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen was screened
at the function with Bangladesh Ambassador to Thailand Md Abdul Hai in the
chair.
Speaking on the occasion, Radwan Mujib said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had worked for the country’s people throughout his
life.
“It’s impossible to know Bangladesh without knowing Bangabandhu,” he said,
adding that this book has opened a door for Thai youths to know Bangladesh’s
history and biography of its (Bangladesh) supreme leader of liberation
struggles.
Representatives of Thai foreign ministry, foreign diplomats, university
teachers and students and Bangladeshi students in Thailand joined the
function.
