C T Online Desk: 20-25 paved shops illegally built by occupying the roads of Majhirghat and Banglabazar Ghat of the city have been evicted. As a result, the movement of Banglabazar Ghat users and pedestrians has been facilitated.
Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) Executive Magistrate Marufa Begum Nelli led the operation on Wednesday (August 24). Chittagong District Police and 31 Ansar Battalion members assisted in the operation. Muhammad Abul Hashem, Acting Chief Cleaning Officer of CCC, officers-employees of related departments of CCC participated in the operation.
