C T Online Desk: Corona vaccination program for children aged 5 to 11 years will start from August 25. The authorities have already taken all the preparations to vaccinate these children. In Chittagong, activities are continuing with the target of vaccinating 1.5 million children aged 5 to 11 years.
The health department has informed that – in the first phase, the vaccination program will be started in the Chittagong City Corporation area. Later, vaccination of children at upazila and village level will be started. Chittagong district civil surgeon Dr. Mohammad Ilias Chowdhury confirmed such information on Thursday.
He said that vaccination program for children aged 5-11 years will start from August 25. In the first phase, the activities will be started at the upazila level, although it will be started in the city corporation area. Before this, a virtual discussion was held with the Technical Committee on Immunization of the Department of Health last Wednesday night.
