C T Online Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep grief and sorrow over passengers’ dead on the Dhaka-Mymensingh road in Uttara of the capital.
The Prime Minister prayed for the departed souls and expressed her deepest condolences to the bereaved family members, she also prayed for a speedy recovery of the injured.
Earlier, at least five persons in a private car were killed as a girder of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project fell on the vehicle in Dhaka’s Uttara area on Monday afternoon (Aug 15).
The accident took place around 4 pm, said Mohammad Mohsin, officer-in-charge of Uttara West Police Station.
Four of the diseased were identified as Rubel (50), Jharna (28), and two children Jannat (6) and Zakaria (2).
