C T Online Desk: Bangladesh participated in table tennis and gymnastics disciplines in the ongoing 5th Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya, Turkey.Bangladesh advanced to the finals of the vaulting table in gymnastics. In the individual event, Bangladeshi gymnast Ali Quader Haque scored 12.950 points and Abu Saeed Rafi reached the finals of the vaulting table competition by scoring 12.950 points. It should be noted that among the total 12 teams, Bangladesh has achieved the rare honor of occupying the 6th position behind Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen, Jordan, Algeria and Pakistan.Bangladesh lost 0-3 sets against Yemen in the quarter-finals of the table tennis men’s team event of the Islamic Solidarity Games.
