C T Online Desk: Agricultural loan has been distributed among the local farmers from the Raozan branch of the state owned Bangladesh Agricultural Bank. ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury MP, president of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Railways, handed over a cheque of Tk 26 lakh to 23 farmers as the chief guest on Sunday morning, During this time, he directed the farmers to lend in simple terms with honesty and sincerity. Earlier, the chief guest inaugurated the banking program of the new building of Bangladesh Agricultural Bank Raozan Branch. Md. Shafiul Azam, General Manager of Agricultural Bank Chittagong Division Md. Shafiul Azam, Chief Regional Manager of Chittagong East Region Abul Mubarak, Rauzan Upazila Chairman Ehsanual Haider chowdhury , Rausan Upazila UNO, Poura Mayor Zamiruddin Parvez , Senior officials of the bank, including UNO Abdus Samad Shikdar were present on the occasion.. Under the various incentive packages announced by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to eliminate the downturn caused by the outbreak of the Corona virus, a total of Tk. 31 crore were given to the 3920 farmers, small businessmen and various professionals.
