6 died at CMCH Hospital  with corona symptom within 24 hrs

C T Online Desk: Six people have died at Chittagong Medical College (CMC) Hospital in the last 24 hours due to coronary heart disease. The number of patients undergoing treatment in this hospital is 6. This information was given tomedia  around 12 noon on Monday (January 17) by the Deputy Director of CMCH  Hospital.. He said that with the increase in corona infections, the number of patients at CMCH  Hospital has also started increasing. As of 8 am on Monday, 6 patients were admitted in Corona ward and 6 died. Although 6 people who died were affected by corona, they were suffering from various diseases including heart disease and diabetes. Meanwhile, 152 patients with corona have been admitted in 6 government and private hospitals of the city including CMC  Hospital. Of these, 16 patients are admitted in Chittagong General Hospital, 6 in CMC Hospital, 6 in BITID, 16 in Parkview Hospital, 11 in Max Hospital, 30 in Imperial Hospital and 1 in CSCR. Among them, 1 patient was admitted to the ICU of Park View Hospital and 2 patients were admitted to the ICU of Max Hospital, said the hospital officials.
