C T Online Desk: A ‘Special Mosquito Extermination and Awareness Campaign’ has been launched in the city to prevent mosquito-borne diseases including dengue and chikungunya.
Mayor M Rezaul Karim Chowdhury formally inaugurated the program at Nasirabad Housing Society.
At that time CCC Councilor Morshed Alam, Hasan Murad Biplab, Acting Chief Cleaning Officer of CCC Abul Hashem and others were present. According to CCC sources, larvicide medicine will be sprinkled in drains in every ward from Wednesday. After 5 pm adulticide will be sprayed with fogger machine.
