C T Online Desk: January 16, 2022 – A mobile court of Chattogram district administration in a drive seized 6,500 meters of current net from different point of Halda River under Raozan upazila of the district today.
The mobile court led by Executive Magistrate and Hathazari Upazila Nirbahi
Officer (UNO) Shahidul Alam conducted the drive at Guanmordon, Nangolmora
point and Chipatoli area in the river, seized the net and fishing
equipment’s.
UNO Shahidul Alam said regular drives will be conducted to protect the
only natural fish breeding ground, its dolphin and biodiversity of
Bangabandhu Fisheries Heritage Halda River.
