C T Online Desk: The mobile court of Chittagong City Corporation has cleared hundreds of illegal structures from both sides of the road from Balurtal to Kalurghat on the city’s Arakan road. At that time, a case was filed against seven persons and a fine of 22,000 taka was collected. A sand carrying truck was also seized. A labor leader named Bakhteyar was arrested for obstructing the operation. At the end of the operation, however, he was released. CCC’s Executive Magistrate Marufa Begum Neli led the operation. Muhammad Abul Hashem, the private secretary of the city mayor and acting chief conservancy officer of CCC, participated.
