C T Online Desk: Faizur Rahman joins as the new Commissioner of Chittagong Customs. He is currently working as Customs Commissioner of Dhaka.
This notification was issued by the Customs and VAT Administration-1 Branch of the National Board of Revenue on Thursday (July 21).
According to the order signed by the second secretary of NBR, Sheikh Mezbaul Saberin, the Commissioner of Chittagong Customs, Mohammad Fakhrul Alam, has been made the director general of the Directorate General of Customs Intelligence and Investigation. Besides, VAT Commissioner Mohammad Akbar Hossain has been transferred as VAT Commissioner of Sylhet. Syed Musfiqur Rahman, Commissioner of Customs, Excise VAT Commissionerate, Dhaka West, has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Chittagong Customs & VAT .commissionerate .
