C T Online Desk: Police recovered the hanging body of Additional Superintendent of Police (Additional SP) of Khulna Metropolitan Police Laboni Akhtar.
Besides, the body of a constable named Mahmudul Hasan (23) with a bullet wound in the head was also found.
Labani’s body was recovered from her maternal grandfather house in Sarangdia village of Sreepur upazila of Magura on Thursday morning.
However, Mahmudul Hasan’s body was found on the roof of the Magura Police Lines barrack at around 11 pm on Wednesday.
According to the police, Mahmudul Hasan of Daulatpur of Kushtia district committed suicide by shooting himself with his official weapon.
Magura Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) Kamrul Hasan confirmed the matter.
