C T Online Desk: Imranur Rahman, the fastest man in Bangladesh, is on a mission to make his country proud at the World Athletics Championship in Oregon, United States.
The London-based athlete hopes to shine in the 100-metre sprint.
The preliminary round of this event will take place at 1:30am (Bangladesh time) on Saturday.
Earlier this month, the 29-year-old completed the sprint in London in 10.22 seconds. If he does well in the preliminaries, he could get the opportunity to play in the tournament proper.
Imranur told Bangla Tribune that he wanted to do well but did not want to say anything about his timing. “I want to break my own personal record.”
