C T Online Desk: Nistha Foundation has donated 120 bags of blood for the injured in the chemical blast at BM Container Depot in Sitakunda, Chittagong. On Tuesday, the organization’s male and female volunteers donated blood through the Sandhani Blood Bank.
MA Sabur, trustee and vice chairman of the foundation, said, “Since Monday, our male volunteers have been working to serve the injured in Sitakunda.” On Tuesday, 30 more women volunteers joined them. We are providing blood donation, ambulance service, necessary medicines, food and oxygen cylinders for the injured.
He further said that not only the burn patients but also the homeless patients undergoing medical treatment are being provided medicine, burial and food by Nistha Foundation
