C T Online Desk: C & F agents are on full day strike at Chittagong Custom House, the country’s largest revenue collecting centre . . The Federation of Bangladesh Customs C&F Agents Association has been calling for the abolition of the Customs Agent Licensing Rules-2020 and the HS Code (Product Identification Number) and the law enacting the CPC in the country.
Kazi Mahmud Imam Bilu, general secretary of Chittagong Customs Agents Association, said, “We will observe full day strike in all customs buildings and stations across the country today.” As a part of this we have taken position at the main gate of Chittagong Custom House. Today we will not do any work including bill entry submission, tariff, bank draft, pay order deposit.etc.
