C T Online Desk: Jan 10, 2022 – A total of 119 more people tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours after testing 2,034 samples in ten COVID-19
laboratories in the district. The percentage of Covid-19 infection is 5.58.
Health officials said the number of COVID-19 cases again speedily rose to
103,203 as 119 more persons were reported Covid-19 positive in the district.
The total number of recovered patients from the deadly virus rose to
94,301 with the recovery of 23 more people in the past 24 hours, Dr Ilias
Chowdhury, civil surgeon of Chattogram district, said adding that the
percentage of recovery rate is 92.22.
With no new death recorded during the period, the death toll stands at
1,333. A total of 225 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at
different designated hospitals here, the sources added.
