BNP propagandas untrust, unbelievable, says Hanif at J L confce

C T Online Desk: Awami League joint general secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif has said that people do not believe in BNP propaganda. The Awami League is working for the empowerment of the people by fighting on the streets.

The BNP has conspired against that Awami League. They have sent a letter against the Awami League to tarnish the image of the country.

Mahbubul Alam Hanif, joint general secretary of the Awami League’s central committee, made the remarks at a conference of the metropolitan Juba League held at the King of Chittagong premises in the city on Monday (May 30).

He said that the development that took place today did not happen by chance. When the government was formed under the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina, look at the per capita income in this country. Now it has exceeded ৮ 2,600. But when the government was formed in 2009, what was it? We have worked with the people for the development of the country. People have given opportunity to Awami League. The Awami League has formed the government three times in a row. Even then people want Awami League.

He said Sri Lanka’s economy depends on two sectors. These are agriculture and tourism. Their business collapsed in Corona. But our economy depends on a few sectors. The contribution of the ready-made garment sector is a lot. Therefore, the Awami League government has taken all necessary steps to sustain the garment sector. So we still have enough reserves. All the people of our country know and understand this. So people do not believe the propaganda of BNP.

Speaking on the occasion, General Secretary of Central Juba League Mainul Hossain Khan Nikhil said,

If there is no unity among the leaders then there is no chance of unity among the workers. There is no alternative to unity. If there is no unity, BNP-Jamaat will get a new opportunity to conspire.

He said there is no unity among the leaders and workers of Chittagong. If the leaders and workers were united then this leadership would have been enough to resist the leaders of Chittagong if they had been united on the day when BNP Jamaat carried out violence in Bengal from 2001 to 2006.

He said that BNP Jamaat has played tricks on the soil of Chittagong with the honor of mother and sister for the crime of voting by boat. The Awami League leader cut off the hands and feet of the workers. The eyes were uprooted. He crippled the business and took away the trade. Even the fish in the pond, starting from the cows in the barn, cut and cleaned the plants.

Addressing the leaders and workers, Nikhil said that Nawfel’s brother Nasir’s brother has called for unity. I get in trouble, do you know the reason why the leaders including my chairman get in trouble?

Asked, he said, have we embraced the ideals of Sheikh Hasina’s soldier, Bangabandhu? Then Nasir’s brother, Nawfel’s brother, who has the ideal?

If they are soldiers of Sheikh Hasina, then why are their slogans different when their names are mentioned? What is the call for unity? It cannot be a call for unity.
