Traders in Khatunganj say traders have increased palm oil imports from Malaysia after Indonesia stopped exporting palm oil. However, today (yesterday) the Indonesian government decided to resume palm oil exports, the price is likely to fall further. However, in the case of soybean, there is still some problem in knowing the supply. Meanwhile, a search of the wholesale market in Khatunganj yesterday revealed that palm oil was sold at Tk 8,200 per ton (36.32 kg) two days ago. At present it is being sold at Rs 5,900 , a wholesaler sources said.
