Swadhinata Padak winning physician and former Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Vice-Chancellor Prof Kanak Kanti Barua, Ekushey Padak recipient and Dainik Azadi Editor MA Malek and Bangla Academy Literary Award recipients- poet Bimal Guha, poet Asad Mannan and poet, writer and journalist Biswajit Chowdhury were accorded honor at a function at Chattogram Samity Bhaban at Topkhana road in the capital., a sources of the receipients said.
