C T Online Desk: The second Bangladesh SME Trade Fair 2022 begins on Friday (January 7) at the initiative of Chittagong Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CWCCI). There will be about 200 stalls and 4 pavilions in the fair.
The fair is being held at Shaheed Shahjahan ground in Tigerpass-Ambagan area of the city. Information and Broadcasting Minister. Dr. Hasan Mahmud to inaugurate the fair as the chief guest on Friday at 4 pm. Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation Rezaul Karim Chowdhury and Chairman of Bangladesh Rubber Board Syeda Sarwar Jahan will be special guests on the occasion. President of The Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mahbubul Alam will be the guest of honour. CWCCI leaders made the announcement at a press conference in Agrabad on Thursday at noon.Rekha Alam Chowdhury, chairperson of the fair and vice president of CWCCI read out a written statement at the press conference.First Senior Vice President Abida Mostafa, Senior Vice-President and Director of FBCCI Dr. Munal Mahbub, Vice President Nishat Imran, Sultana Nurjahan Rozi and others were present in the press meet.
