C T Online Desk: A Dhaka court has granted three-day remand each for three students of Dhaka College in two separate cases in connection with the recent clashes at New Market that claimed two lives.
Metropolitan Magistrate Md Mosharraf Hossain passed the order on Friday (May 6) after the hearing.
Two people were killed and more than 30 others, including journalists and students, were injured as the students of DhakaCollege clashed with the traders of New Market at the Nilkhet intersection recently.
Police subsequently registered five cases against 1,400 people in connection with the clashes.
