C T Online Desk: At least 10 people were injured in a three-way collision between two trucks and a passenger mini bus at Patiya Shantirhat area on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway. The accident took place around 8:30 am on Monday . The injured have been shifted to different hospitals. Witnesses said the truck collided with one of the trucks and the passenger mini bus fell into a ditch and overturned. 8-10 passengers were injured.
Patiya Highway Police Station in-charge Moazzem Hossain told the media “A dumper truck, a truck carrying goods and a minibus carrying garment workers collided around 8:30 am on Monday. No one was killed but several others were injured. Immediately after the accident, the locals rescued the injured and sent them to the hospital. We did not find anyone injured at the scene. ” The police official also said that the three vehicles involved in the accident have been rescued.
