C T Online Desk: Bangladesh made a new record in power sector by producing 14,782MW electricity Saturday night, sources said.
Saiful Hasan Chowdhury, director of public relations of Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB), confirmed it in a press statement.
The country set a new record in power sector by producing the highest ever 14,782MW electricity as on 9pm, he added.
The previous record in the country’s power generation being 14,423 MW was made on April 14.
